Aerial and Scissor Lift Safety
Aerial and Scissor Lift Safety certification is required for anyone who operates any type of lift designed to elevate employees off the ground. This training consists of a video, a written test, an operator pre-use inspection exercise, and a performance test. Also covered are PPE and safety harness/fall prevention.
This class is required by OSHA every three years, after an accident, or any time new equipment is to be used. Request this class by contacting STSIG Loss Prevention, it usually takes around three hours and must be done at your site with your lift present and operational.
